More information has been released regarding the PSN, and it seems restoration is starting… today!

“Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) and Sony Network Entertainment International (SNEI, the company) will today begin a phased restoration by region of PlayStation Network and Qriocity services.
The phased restoration will be on a country by country basis beginning in the Americas, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.
The first phase of restored services for North America and Europe will include:
- Sign-in for PlayStation Network and Qriocity services, including the resetting of passwords.
- Restoration of online gameplay across PlayStation 3 and PSP.
- Playback rental video content, if within rental period, of PlayStation Store Video Store on PS3, PSP and Media Go.
- Q Music Unlimited, for current subscribers, on PS3 and PC.
- Access to third party services such as VidZone and MUBI.
- ‘Friends’ category on PS3, including Friends List, Chat Functionality, Trophy Comparison, etc.
- PlayStation Home.”

I am the same. I read when you actually sign into the network you will be required to change the password, not directly after the patch.

Played Portal 2 on PC (gifted) (couldnt wait for ps3+pc version) :)
Single player was ..yeah good game , co-op game was sooooooo roflmao funny.. if a bit short but looking forward to lots of free DLC. Also free DLC for PS3 which makes a change from the money grabbing u know whats.
But unless sony pull some magic rabbit full of candy floss sweetness outa there ass to tempt me back I might be done with PS3.
But its nothing to do with the psn downtime etc …I just started playing EvEonline and for a game where u spend most of your time travelling or so it seems at moment …im completely hooked :D
Oh yeah and then theres swtor coming out and diablo III.
Just wish I could afford a new PC :D

I want to be able to run The Witcher Enchanced and Gothic 3 flawlessly but the FPS isn’t good for them. :(
I only wish they’re where cheaper and that I could save just so I can play The Witcher 2.
