And so begins the massive hype-train for what will no doubt be one of the most successful games of the year, as ShopTo becomes one of the first UK retailer to start taking Modern Warfare 3 pre-orders.
The release date is down as November 8th, which is the same as what US retailers such as GameStop are listing.
A mass leak of plot details happened over the weekend, which I have yet to peruse because I don’t particularly want the game ruined for me.

Yeh, £54 is for the sucker who don’t want to wait. It will come down in price, in any case I reckon I’m going Battlefield 3 first actually.

I’ll just wait for the inevitable great deals the supermarkets will do.

It’ll be a Tesco visit for me too, but I may not even bother this time. I’ll wait to see some reviews.

Same here. I wasn’t a big fan of MW2 or BlOps and with Battlefield 3 on the way I will wait and decide which to go for. I can’t afford to jut buy everything!

Will get it from a supermarket for about half price probably. Although as this is the game I’m looking forward to most this year, I might be tempted to go to the midnight release…
aerobes
Just get it from a supermarket at half price at midnight. Win. :)

I hope they won’t spam the living hell of every COD related Advert. Undoubty COD will set yet another record for Preorders but for once it has some real comptition to go against.:O I can see a supermarket war for it.
