Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Dated, Gets Pre-order Bonuses

It has been announced that Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One will release in the US on October 18th, and in Europe from October 19th.

There are also some pre-order bonuses going around, depending on what retailer you order from:

  • Amazon – a T-Rex Morph Weapon Mod which transforms your enemies from “dangerous threats into a baby dinosaur.”
  • Best Buy – a Kerchu-engineered flamethrower.
  • GameStop – Mr. Zurkon with a mounted laser.
  • Walmart – the Sheepinator Morph Weapon Mod to transform your enemies into sheep.

These will also be coming to various European retailers also.

  2. Looking good, glad they are still releasing Ratchet games, one of my favourite series.

    Just wanna know the UK release date since we usually get everything a month late

  3. i like the sound of the Amazon bonus, very comical. Thanks to Bmike i won the Tools of Destruction game which was my first Ratchet and Clank game, very funny to play and enjoyable :) been playing it quite a bit as the PSN was down

    • Interesting to hear you say that, I enjoyed Tools of Destruction but at the same time couldn’t help but be a little disappointed as it didn’t quite stand up to the PS2 trilogy (really hope there’s an HD remake at some point in the future) – so it’s good to know that it stands up to a fresh pair of eyes coming into the series later on. If you like ToD, you should definitely pick up Crack in Time, which is brilliant :)

      • I was quite disappointed with TOD too after the PS2 tri. Went back to the PS2 ones recently and they are still brilliant fun to play today. ACIT was better and i really enjoyed that one, but i felt it still lacked that something.

      • Yeah, I do know what you mean, it wasn’t quite as magical as the original trilogy – but I loved it for some of the new features (the space flight with all the little varied moons and the clank time puzzles in particular).

      • i have never played the PS2 ones, only the demo’s of them on some random discs :( so had nothing to compare it to

      • reread, i see you say “fresh pair of eyes”, missed that in first read of your comment, very intrigued now to see what they were like ;) i was tempted to buy ACIT and really want to so you never know

      • the next gen ones have been too linear for me, you usually finish a planet on your first time there, whereas it alwasy seemed that in the first ones, you were always bouncing between planets. Maybe it’s just nostalgia but the first two particularly just felt so free

  4. Very much looking forward to this! Are the pre-order bonuses definitely going to be the same in the EU, or is it not really known?

    Loving the sound of the T-Rex Morph Weapon Mod, but I’d find it difficult to chose between that and the Mr. Zurkon (who can only be made more awesome with the addition of a mounted laser!).

    • The pre-order bonuses are only “an early weapon unlock”, so it sounds like everyone will still get all the weapons in the game eventually.

      • Ahh, if that is the case I won’t be too bothered about getting the bonus. Even if I had access to something like that early, I doubt I would use it as I generally prefer to get things in the normal order and timing.

  6. haha loving the T-Rex morpher. Cant wait for this game and glad its only a day from the US. Glad the weapons are only early unlock and not 4weapons i will miss out on.

    • Is this true? I can’t see it saying they’re just early unlocks anywhere?

    • its a normal R&C game … Dualshock only

  10. Nice to see the devs trying something different with the series doing co-op. It needed something to freshen the franchise up a bit and this might just be it.

    I’m interested but definitely still on the fence regarding if I’ll pick this up or not yet. The game is out at such a busy period for games, right before Uncharted 3 which is must have for me.
