It seems now that the PSN is back online you’re all rushing to get onto PlayStation Home. Home’s director, Jack Bauer…no, Buser, had the following to say:
“We’re having record traffic in Home. The week we restored the service, we hit a new record in terms of weekly unique users. We were watching the numbers and we were just so excited. We were just dancing in the streets.
The numbers are through the roof. I think it speaks to the loyalty of our user base, and to the power of these kinds of platforms.”
Apparently Home is the only PSN service to exceed previous traffic records, with other activities at around 90% of what they were before the hack.

I haven’t been on Home in at least a year. If I do go on it, I just troll. Lmao I remember the time some girl was gonna report us for sexual abuse and my friend ended up getting banned for a month from PSN.

Yeah It’s guys like you that make Home what it is. Funnily enough I tend to report guys like you even if the abuse isn’t aimed at me. And yes I’ve had 3 people banned from PSN.

Never really seen the appeal of home to be honest – To me it just seems like a waste of time & HDD space. Not trying to get at anyone who enjoys it of course, just never really seen the point myself.

I reckon it’s Sony’s virtual research post. They see what people do, what they’re prepared to pay for etc.
Forward a couple of years: they’ve combined Home, 3D & motion controls and we have Sony’s prototype for a Matrix ready to play on a shiny PS4.

What i never understood about home was the furnishings of your apartment/house, well to be specific, paying real money for virtual furniture. I think i came across a couch one day for €1.20!! Why would they make you pay for such crap!

Been on Home 4 times & all i’ve ever seen are twats dancing or chasing burds about. I personally don’t see the point of it.
