Max Payne 3: Christmas 2011?

Amazon and Gamestop have listed Max Payne 3 to arrive on December 1st, 2011. It had been previously thought the game would arrive sometime in 2012.

UK retailer Play.com continue to list Max Payne as ‘Date to be confirmed’ and the official May Payne 3 site declares ‘coming soon’.

Rockstar are well known for concentrating on one game at a time so if Mr. Payne does pop down your chimney this Christmas then the mythical Grand Theft Auto V will surely not arrive until well into 2012.

  1. Really? They really want to be against Cod?Batman:Arkham city?Uncharted 3?Need for speed game?Assasins creed game?Skyrim? And a lot of more games that are coming out i November.

    • Gonna be the worse month ever i want all them you mentioned plus the WWE 12, Saints Row the third,Resident Evil Racoon City and Dead rising 2 Off The Record.

    • Lob a Vita in amongst there and you should have everything.

    • oh just you wait until people suddenly realize their games have no chance against Cod then everything will be pushed back as always

  3. I actually went back to my original xbox last week and replayed the original Max Payne. Not the best game in the world, but those slo-mo shootouts sure are fun :D

    • Seeing a Kamehameha or a ultra-beam laser in slo-mo is so…. hot.

    • Will be hard to do, as it has been confirmed to be the first in a franchise, of la noire games.

  5. Thanks looks another Rockstar game is poised to be ignored by meh! hurry up and revive GTA?…please although I now see the series as sa waste of time now with direction they took with GTA IV.
