Whilst the PlayStation Network is up and running across the rest of the world, the system’s native owners still can’t access online play or the shop.
Sony today issued their first statement on the issue for two weeks, saying that more time is needed to “make adjustments with the various related parties” but didn’t give a timescale on when this will all be resolved.
You have to wonder what the issues are, given that the service is up and running around the majority of the planet.

They can access their EU accounts I imagine, just not their Japanese accounts, like we can’t access any Japanese accounts we have.

For anyone that missed it, the Hong Kong store came back last week, and has some different Welcome Back games compared to UK/US.

God, hope they get it sorted for them soon.

No PSN Japan is up, the store isn’t though.

I had just assumed that when the HK store came back on Japan would too. Sorry to hear that I know it sucked waiting as long as we did!

That has gotta hurt, sympathies to fellow gamers.

That sucks, hopefully they won’t have too much longer to wait.
