Bodycount Dated For The EU

Did TSA’s hands on of Bodycount get you all excited? Due out for the PS3 and Xbox 360, it has been announced that the game will be hitting shops in the EU on September 2nd.

The US will be getting the game on the 30th August.

  2. Still not sure whether to get excited about this or not tbh. Need more information about I guess, as at the moment all I know that it is a FPS made by the creators of Black, which actually isn’t a major selling point for me as I never played Black.

    Somewhat trivial I suppose though as the release date is just one week before the wife’s birthday & our anniversary, so I don’t think I will have any money for it anyway somehow!

    Day one for me as usual lol.

      • The full price and day one is to support the developers, they worked really hard on this and deserve some credit to it. I never have purchased a 2nd hand copy – never!
        And I’m only crazy when buying collector’s edition like Infamous for 100quid which I did aswell as Duke Nukem for 70 quid (Both on the same day) lol

      • LOL that *is* crazy! Noticed in your ‘meet the staff’ article recently you have the Helghast edition of KZ3 as well (though I have that one too)
        Thinking about it, I take your point about supporting the devs. If more people had your viewpoint there probably wouldn’t be as many companies going under right now.

      • I guess I should point out that I will also buy this day 1. Just like I bought Mirror’s Edge, Dead Space, Singularity etc. and more recently Shadows of The Damned (BUY THIS DAMN GAME PEOPLE) on day 1. Somebody needs to buy the new IP to support the developers, even if the games may not always be eye-watering, new IP has to start somewhere. Though I have to say, in the last couple of years, most of the games I have purchased in this way have been alot of fun to play. But then I also loved Splatterhouse, so I have no taste.

      • If I had the disposable income I probably would buy games day of release (infact I KNOW I would as I always used to before I moved into a place of my own, got married, etc)

        Katy I would have bought Shadows of the Damned day 1 but unfortunately I’m getting married in a week! So it’ll be end of July for me to get the game. I support every Dev sure some were poor or rubbish but they will learn. Blur was fantastic along with Split/Second and Singularity.
        I believe WeVeiw is the best thing that has ever happen and will change gaming around!

      • Is singularity really as good as you guys are saying? I keep looking at that game but not sure whether to pick it up

      • Yes I believe folks have picked this up (Bargain Bin) and are playing it through their own meets (It’s not on TSA meets but there’s 2 threads Boosting Thread and Singularity Thread – well I think there is lol)
        You should check them out! If your into trophies/Platinum best message Forrest first though. Or if you into for fun then yes it’s worth buying! Brilliant campaign FPS but poor Multiplayer though!

        Personally, I think it’s a brilliant game that was sadly under-marketed by Activision & therefore it didn’t do anywhere near as well as it should have done. The singleplayer is actually great, quite inspired in some parts & is a good ride overall. The multiplayer is good (with the creatures being a highlight), but the trouble is that it has some matchmaking issues on PS3 where it takes us a while to all get into the same game during the meets. Not sure whether you would have the same issue on Xbox though.

        If you like Bioshock, the gameplay is somewhat similar, but completely different at the same time (in a good way of course).

        My advice – If you can find it cheap (& I think I may have seen it as cheap as a tenner in sales, so maybe around £15-£20 usual price these days?), buy it.

        Also, if a WeView is done on Singularity, there is one entry for ‘Buy it’ already! :D

      • lol cool :) I was just skimming over an achievement guide and a lot of people said about lobby problems so looks to be a common issue across the board. I’m pretty sure I saw a copy at my local Blockbuster for about £12 a few days back so I may have to pop my head in there tonight on the way home from work ;)

  5. I’m generally quite optimistic about this one, but the “Laser Tag arena”-looking bits at the end puts me off something fierce…

  7. I will get this game but at the moment the release date doesnt bother me as i have no way of knowing whether funds will be available next week never mind in a few months. I will get it but when i don’t know.

  8. I got excited about this when it first was announced with the screenshots,but after seeing the trailers and the gameplay i got really put off buy it! but will pick it up early 2012 when its a bit cheaper
