Codemasters have just released the world’s first F1 2011 video, and it’s here – right here – for your dissection.
“The new video for F1 2011 gives an insight into some of the innovations and enhancements in the official game,” says the press release.
“The trailer shows exciting wheel to wheel racing, enhanced by KERS and DRS, as well as highlighting improved garage, paddock, pit lane and Parc Fermé cinematics that further immerse the player into the life of a FORMULA ONE driver.”

preordered this, it wil be the only new game i buy all year, i really hope the ai have been improved, enjoyed the driving in the last game just not the racing part.

Looks very pretty. Unsure about the race engineer, but at the end of the day it’s the driving that counts. F1 2010 was wonderful from that point of view, so I’m sure F1 2011 will be the same. I just hope that the changes and additions they’ve made complement and improve the fantastic on-track experience already there.

I just wish that people would bother to animate human characters eyes instead of them staring with glassy eyes at nothing. Like most sports games the characters look like their real life selves but after a serious brain operation that was only partially successful.
Its like modelling the cars down to the finest details only for the wheels to not spin when driving…
