Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet et et et et. I did my own little echo there, did you notice? That was in honour of one of the games we talked about on this week’s podcast. Kris decided it needed reverb but I think we just settled for saying it in a half-hearted ‘boomy’ voice in the end.
Among other things we discussed was a movie about time and crime called Timecrimes. Lewis has reviewed that over on ScreenDemon, if you fancy a bit more info. (Note: As tuffcub points out in the comments, I’ve had a mental glitch about this. We actually discussed Timecrimes on last week’s podcast. It’s like I travelled back in time.)
Kris then decided to baffle me entirely by talking about a comic that featured dogfights, in aeroplanes, which travelled through time. I think it was called The Red Wing but I can’t be 100 percent sure because, frankly, I’m still a little confused by it all.
We had the usual competition (entries to lewisgaston[at]screendemon.com) and a special quiz that I took charge of for this week, as a kind of punishment for Lewis. I was thwarted by how successful both he and Kris were though.
It’s been ages since we had a guest, hasn’t it? You’d think Kris hated everyone.

i used to like giant bomb but for the last half a year or so I’ve just found it and the writers a bit irritating… TSA in my opinion is much better. Although it was the podcast that really got me coming to the site in the first place.

Just finished listening to this weeks podcast, hilarious as per usual … was almost in tears at the part about the t-rex. Still have all 30 episodes (plus the 3 E3 specials on my PS3 … a staggering 52 hours 37 minutes 50 seconds of craziness).
As for quality superhero games … spiderman 2 was so much fun, mainly because of the freedom of web-swinging about the city.
Also, totally agree with you Peter, Samo Hung is amazing, I think the first thing I ever saw him in was Chinese Ghost Stories.

i knew indy was named after a dog, according to the last crusade, and chewie was almost like han’s pet.

and why it being done in a measurement of distance and not time means the falcon is a fast ship?
i was getting y the last man on the comic store, but now they’ve closed the store, well not closed it but they’ve stopped updating it, and we still don’t know when or where the comic store will be returning so we may never see the remaining issues.

still, by the time i get round to, and can afford to, finish reading the series, i’ll probably have forgotten.
