Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Will Be Playable at GAMEfest

GAME have announced that Modern Warfare 3 will be playable at their GAMEfest event in Birmingham from 16-18th of September.

Anna-Marie Mason, marketing director at GAME said:

“We are delighted that GAMEfest attendees can be the first consumers in the UK to have the opportunity to get hands-on with Modern Warfare 3 before it releases to the world.

We know that our customers love to be first to play and with this year’s sneak peek of the newest instalment of Call of Duty, GAMEfest once again proves  it is absolutely the place to be.”

  5. At least you guys don’t have to pay to try it, like CoD XP…or do you?

    • Well, COD XP is more a competition event. It’s not really a show in the same vein of Eurogamer or GAMEFest.

      Also, the entry fee to COD XP is donated to charity, which I admit is irrelevant as, like I said, it’s not just promoted as a “have an early look at our game” type thing.

    • Also, tickets for GAMEFest are £10. Same price Eurogamer. COD XP is $150.

      However, again, with COD XP you’re paying to enter a tournament where $1 million dollars is up for grabs. It’s a bit apples and oranges if you get my meaning.

  6. I think the excitement of CoD is finally dying down for me. I always look forward to the MP but that’s about it. Big fan of Infinite Ward,not a fan of the fact that MP is the only thing that truly saves this game at all in my opinion. I’ll b playing KZ3 til I have a compelling reason to divert my attention

  7. I was hoping that Mw3 would be available at EGX, I’m guessing GAME would have probably paid for exclusivity :(
