During its Play Day event at Gamescom, Microsoft has announced that Kinectimals is coming to Windows Phone.
“Coming this Autumn, “Kinectimals” fans can take their favourite cubs beyond the living room to care for and train while on-the-go,” reads the press release. “Kinectimals for mobile will deliver all of the fun of the original “Kinectimals,” using touch screen controls to feed, pet, play, train and nurture on-the-go from their Windows Phone while also enjoying Xbox LIVE integration of Achievements and Leaderboards.”
There’s no date for the mobile game, but a Microsoft rep (speaking to VG247) has detailed the back and forth between the console and phone releases: “There’s a QR code element built into the game where you able to transfer your cat that you’ve developed there, or you can reverse that and take your animal from your phone to your Xbox.”
