Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection Gets A Release Date

Warner Bros. has announced that the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection will be available worldwide on August 31st. The Kollection includes the original Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for $9.99/800 Microsoft points.

All three games in the trilogy are arcade perfect ports and feature online multiplayer, leaderboards, and achievements/trophies.

  1. I used to be awesome at wrestling, however this whole thing with NRS has taken its toll. I used to be fit and slim, but I just sit at home drenching my sorrow in Butterschotch Krimpits from TasteyCake.

    • No flamewar, I just want the world to see what ED BOON’s negligence has done to myself as well as my core group of friends. Again no offence to anyone, just an eye opener for the masses when your dedication smacks you in the face with reality.

  5. The jist of it is this, and this goes out to anyone “late to the party”. Shock and myself are just sick and tired of NRS writing us off and not giving into any of our demands. MK3 died once and Shock single-handily resurrected it from the grave. He owns/operates his own website and does this while he’s an Indy wrestler, full time Pharmacist, and employee of UltraSpec Cables. His dedication surpasses that of most hardcore fans.

    Look, we’re not asking to be put in the game as playable characters or anything. All we’re asking is to maybe look over resumes we’ve sent in for employment, take our advice, give us positive feedback, let us work on the game (at least 70%), let our staff test the game, allow copies to be sent to Bullgaria to allow certain players play betas, and give us a reasonable salary. I mean especially after everything we’ve done.

    I’ve had to move my children around just so I could get information about the games. I’ve done so much, when they threatened to sue me after I found leaked information, I was nice enough not to post it. Btw, don’t ask me how “fire&ice” got the information, we don’t need to go there again because I swear to god it wasn’t my fault that the roster was leaked and that Brazil got early copies of the game. Everyone wants to go straight to me just because I’m a former Gamestop employee.

    The point is this, give us something in return. Especially after we spent next to $5,000 of money from our own pocket to try and develop an MK Project game. We’re still in debt because we have to pay people who acted in it, did some cinematography work, and mocap. This isn’t fun and I just do it because I have a strong dedication for the franchise. So like I said, we must do what we have to do and WE WILL BE SLOWING MK2-MKT down to MK1 speed. There is no question about it, don’t get mad at us, get mad at NRS. This is the only way to keep the game balanced and competitive.

    I won’t ever question Shock especially after what he did for the franchise and community.

    Guys, keep it on topic, be respectful and try to keep your comments at least remotely grounded in reality. As hilarious as this bizarre rambling is, there are people who might want to actually discuss the story, rather than whatever weird Franz Kafka book I seem to have stumbled into.

  9. I contacted Ed Boon (that was fast) He has never heard of you guys and told me to f*** off as he wanted to watch Letterman, so I had to apologize to him for taking up his time. I went to Wikipedia and it has no mention of you, nor the names, nor the production etc….
    Oh I contacted Gamestop and there said you have problems, so…. I have a certificate in helping/assist Suicide and Mental people. I’d give you my card but I cannot remember where I put it. *scratches head*
