Warner Bros. has announced that the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection will be available worldwide on August 31st. The Kollection includes the original Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for $9.99/800 Microsoft points.
All three games in the trilogy are arcade perfect ports and feature online multiplayer, leaderboards, and achievements/trophies.

Folks please forgive Tim, as he has basically dedicated his life to this game and has hit brick walls everywhere he has turned. We carry a ton of emotion on our backs every time Boon does this to us. I have pleaded with him to no avail for 10+ years. Tim lost his job at Gamestop, took his kids out of school, all for the betterment of the community. I know that his langauge wasnt ok, but please understand that we have such a vested intrest in this game that our feelings sometimes get the best of us.
On a side note, it is just amazing how I support the entire community with my money. I actually lost my job at Pathmark and had to be bailed out by another member of the community just so i could pay my car note because of this game. Boon, sits back, collects huge windfalls for a game that is nothing, I repeat NOTHING like the community wanted it. Nobody can question my dedication to this game\community and I honestly cannot fathom what Tobias is thinking watching Boon rape his legacy over and over again. FYI, I am considering having a vascectomy so I cannot produce offspring to bear witness to this BS.

Thanks, you’re both really passionate for this and I can see that, but in the end it’s up to the game developers what they do. Do you have a petition of sorts? If the rest of the community thinks along the same lines as you, and all of them show the developers rather than some select individuals then I’m sure you’ll get somewhere.
That’s the best thing to do, individually campaigning to this extreme can’t be good for you.

I value everyone’s opinion and I apologize if anyone felt insulted due to my comments. I’m just very passionate when it comes to MK, especially 3. 3 years ago several members of UltimateMK had planned a huge MK project and it failed after NRS (at the time Midway) threaten to sue us. We were pretty much at the final stages and ready to market the game through public access channels around various parts of the country. It was a cheap download for $35 and 2% of the prophets were meant to go venues/events.
You can just tell by our actions how passionate we really are.

Matt and I aren’t going out on a limb insulting people, we’re mainly upset with NRS after they screwed us over. I’m speaking for our staff, we will not be playing the Kollection at any of the tournaments. They try to speed up the game and it doesn’t work, they could have at least added a Defense-Jab Breaker. We’ve done so much for them and they won’t even take a moment to listen to Shock, it’s bloody absurd.
We took busses and trains just to end up in Minnesota, they never called back, but all we got was an email months later saying they wouldn’t have left us into their building in the first place, thanks NRS.
I have a right to feel sick and tired of the way they’ve been treating us. Capcom allows tournament players to help develop their re-makes. I got last place at our last tournament and Shock gets 5th at best. He’s right, we’re all getting old now and the least they can for the loyal hardcore fans is let us in the building so we can help them develop the game.
We had so many great ideas for the HD remake as well as hired actors/actress’ after they won competitions over at TYM. We had it all planned out what we were going to do during the development stages of the HD remake. But no, I ended up stranded in the middle of nowhere in Minnesota, with Shock, Phil, Rob, and Nit. We had to have one of Shock’s old employees from Pathmark drive all the way out there and pick us after we convinced him Shock could still get him free medication over the counter.
I just want this game to live on, it sucks that it keeps dying, especially after last year’s NEC. We had a great turnout and Shock was right, slowing the game down to MK1 is what we need to do. We have no problem re-writing a guide, that’s how much we care for the community.

You don’t need to understand anything, I’m just trying to emphasize the point that the least NRS can do is let us work on the game with a reasonable salary. Especially after all the hard work we put into the game. Like I said, when we were working on the MK Project, we had paid several beta-testers out of our own pocket to test the game. After NRS threatened to sue, we tried to get our money back, but the beta-testers wouldn’t budge. We haven’t seen a single dime back from that screw job and ended up getting slapped in the face with a counter-suit.
I’ve wasted years and years for NRS and MK and each time we get high on our throne, we just kicked back down. I have children to raise, mouths to feed, bills to pay, and a job to find. I can’t vest anymore time into this franchise if they don’t at least give me something in return, money would be a start.
I’m 32 years old and my hair is covered in grey. I’ve developed a third cowlick in the lower cerebellum of my cranium and doctors are trying to convince me that this is a ‘stress tumor’. I can’t keep busting my ass and excuse my language, but I can’t keep doing this for NRS. I’m not saying I’m going to move on, but hell. MK2-MKT at MK1 speed is a start and these games must live on, especially after NRS failed to give with MK9.

With blair here, I love my games to the point I’ll hammer them for hundreds of hours at a time, but if I have a girlfriend at the time she’ll always come first. Even more so if I had kids.
It’s just a game dude. I suffer from bi-polar disorder, and the games help me to focus on things and relax, but they aren’t the be all end all part of my life. It’s a hobby, and family and friends will always come before it.

Blair is right, it is hard to emphasise as it appears to us you are bitter towards the devs for not allowing you to decide the game direction. We aren’t even aware of your community or who you are (99% of us anyway) so this all sounds extremely odd and very disturbing to hear about vasectomies and getting free medication over the counter for a lift out of Minnesota.

I totally feel you matey, almost the same thing happened to me before actually! With a totally different game though, mind you. You know Left4Dead? Pretty famous zombie shooter game? Well the developer -Valve- completely f-ed me over! I’ve made two GREAT special infected for them, they were obviously the most awesomely developed characters you’ve ever layed your eyes upon. However, to my great shock and amazement..they did not get implemented. Instead, they came up with that dull “Spitter” and “Charger” thing…meh..Meh I tell you! When I emailed Valve about the abhorent choice they made, they told me that I just had to deal with it. Can you imagine? Over and over I tried to make them change their mind, could they not see that MY idea should be implemented? I even went to their office, which is overseas for me. The trip had cost me a great deal, cause Valve couldn’t be bothered to pay the ticket for me. It didn’t work though, they wouldn’t even let me in. So, for all my hard work I got nothing! I’ve been a long time fan too, I should have something to say in this! They should be grateful I’m not asking them to pay me, miserable people. Really now, I’ve been through so much stress that my nails started falling out and I’ve begun to pass wind irregularly. You know how awful it is for a woman to not be able to stop farting? It’s terrible, terrible I tell you! This is an outrage, they should be glad I’m not sueing.

Had to make a quick run to Chipolte because I’ve barely ate all day. Get this, I went there get my favorite item off the secret menu and re-apply since Gamestop fired me a couple weeks ago. Anyways, got my burrito and nachos, apply at one of the tables, come home and I’m getting ready to eat and I remember I forgot to get food for the kids. So I’m basically in the middle of making Mac and Cheese for the 3rd night in a row, ROFL..
I’m glad we got back onto topic, I’ve sent Hector, Ed, Forden, MKCommunity Manager, and Ninjaboy several direct messages each before I left to grab food. Pretty much telling them off that we more than likely won’t be playing the Kollection at our tournaments. I was hoping some of you wouldn’t mind supporting our cause against these inconsiderate pricks. I know most of you guys can’t understand my frustration, but you can at least get why I’m upset.

Tried inhaling oxygen, on a trip to Punxsutawney, PA 7 years ago me and my ex-wife stole 3 oxygen masks out of the plane that flew us back to Ohio. We made a makeshift oxygen-tank that would feed 100% oxygen through the masks and it didn’t work. All it did was make me feel extremely disoriented and I ended up throwing up at the end of the night.
I’ve tried everything, I’ve filled up buckets of water and stood upside down with my head in the bucket and held my breath for 3 sets for 30 seconds. I’ve tried doing light cardio work outs, I’ve tried laying in flowerbeds full of fertilizer, and even went to a holistic’s appointment with Matt. Nothing works, I’m telling you, I’ve tried anything you can think of to help these headaches, soup to nuts. The only that that would help is when I’d get some vykees off of Matt.
