It looks like beta versions of Battlefield 3 are starting to emerge, and although we’d assume EA would want the contents under wraps just now, one person has decided to go all out and post screens (and, later, videos) of the game in its current state.
We’ve given EA a prod, and they say that a beta isn’t even under way yet, but the shots and videos do look real. We won’t post the shots that are currently doing the rounds but if you’re interested most of the stuff appears to be coming from a Reddit thread – here.
Whether or not this’ll mean that there’ll be a Beta for a wider audience we don’t currently know – this is running on a dev machine (hence the screenshots and other giveaway clues) but we can only hope that this signals a more open test, even if this version’s running from disk.

as they sold beta codes for it in last years medal of honour it should be realised on all platforms at the same time and dice have already said that it will be 48h exclusive and then be open to everyone.

Yeah if you pre-order Battlefield the BETA is 48hrs exclusive plus I still got Medal of Honor and I assume to play the Beta you use MoH menu?!?!?

I haven’t looked at the video but the screens look kinda bad with literally no AA. Like the guys said on the link though it might not be rendering at full res right now. But, Beta anyone? EA? Someone please give us a date.

Ambient noises are louder while voice dialogue is slightly lower.
bfbc2 manual states it sounds more realistic. The ingame TV setting sounds clearer to me, at least on my set.
