Howdy campers, it’s PSN Store update day, so let’s see what Sony has planned for us.
To kick off the final week of the PLAY promotion it’s Renegade Ops from SEGA. As a reminder you now have only one week left to purchase all four PLAY titles to be eligible for a free copy of PAYDAY: The Heist.
The highly anticipated From Dust is also out today, with a one week 20% discount for Plus members. We have a little refresher on the game going live at 3pm.
There’s also demos of this year’s big footy games and – look – some tiny little game called God of War Collection Volume II on the Store. Never heard of it…

Lol yeah I’m hoping Capcom aren’t feeling mean and penalise us for living in the EU. The fact Resi 1 is free to ps+ members in the EU at the moment is a good sign though :D

I was tempted until the Baconing reviewed poorly. I ended up just picking up Bloodrayne (which is fantastic imo) and I’ll probably get Payday as it looks a lot of fun

Could turn out to be quite an expensive week for me this week. Renegade Ops, depending on whether the demo is any good, From Dust and the LBP2 move pack (assuming it does actually appear on the store).

Just curious when did you get a PS3? As much as there isn’t much leaping out at me this week, God of War Collection, Splinter Cell HD trilogy, Renegade Ops, From Dust plus FIFA demo doesn’t equal Sony’s worst week. Hell, I remember when we got one new release/demo a month to begin with! lol

I found From Dust really disappointing, to me it’s more like a puzzle game. I was hoping for a Populous type game and perhaps I’ve missed the point of it. The few levels I played of it were very much in the vein of a really linear puzzle game. The pathfinding was also fairly grating at times as well, this was on the 360 though, perhaps the PS3 can do it better.
