Crysis PS3/Xbox 360 Gets Launch Trailer

I’m quite excited today. Having never had access to a competent PC, I’ve yet to sample to the original Crysis, but that’s about to change as the game is released on the PSN and LIVE today.

To celebrate, a launch trailer has been let loose. Check it out below.

  2. I forgot about it. Any news on how big the game is going to be to download?

    • 4GB according to the Xbox Live website

      • Bought it on 360 yesterday… The store hadnt updated but it was in the full games download list under a to z on xbox.com so i started the download from there… Its 4.1 gb on 360

    • 2.96GB for PS3.

  5. Bought it for my laptop a few months ago and it was mint despite the fact the it sounded like my laptop was about to explode every time I booted up. You think this was because it was Crysis I was playin but its actually cos my laptop is done in. It makes the same noise when I play football manager :(

    little steep me thinks seing as you can pick up the maximium edition on pc for 8 quid in game
    still tempted though..

    • Steam discounted Crysis to a couple of quid.

    • Oh, that could put me off a bit.

  8. Don’t want a download version, I’d be more tempted by an on disc Crysis dual pack, as I still not have Crysis 2.

    • That would put it firmly in my radar aswell.

  9. The whole point of people talking about Crysis was because of the graphics wasn’t it? So on PSN this wont look anything like it will it? Seems a bit odd buying an old game just because it was famous on pc?

    • But wasn’t this trailer for an XBOX / PS3 version? So we should expect what we see (to a degree)

    • why not it is a great game if it just had graphics it would have fell flat.

    • It’s a good game, why would wanting to play it be odd?

      I will get this, eventually. As I already have this and Warhead I can’t say I am in a huge hurry to pick this up, but I will get it. I much prefer controller to keyboard.

The trailer is 360 footage, ps3 will probably be slightly lower resolution, but with slightly less slow down in places and shadows that dont look like theyve been photoshop filtered to look artistic brushy… Nicer looking than crysis 2 though, im sure ps3 will be good too. Running outta space on ps otherwise id maybe have waited for that
