Amy ‘Contamination’ Trailer

Developers VectorCell have relased a trailer for forthcoming zombie sim ‘Amy’ which shows how the character Lana gradually turns into a zombie – and how to stop the infection.

The price and date for the game has yet to be set but the Facebook page has the following message:

We can’t confirm [the price] yet because the final decision will be taken by Sony & Microsoft, BUT: we believe price is a very important issue and we advocate to sell Amy at around $15 (about 10€) with about 10 hours of gameplay.

Why do we do that? Because we want as many people as possible to try it, not only horror fans. It’s just a downloadable game, created by a small indy team but for the price of a Big Mac Meal plus a muffin, we believe it’s pretty good value for money.

  1. I would like to see some more but it looks interesting.

  2. This looks pretty unique, more so than: there are zombies, kill as many as you can with custom weapons in dark corridors. Doesn’t look very scary yet, but it’s hard, if not impossible to get that across in an informational video. Graphics and everything is a bit standard, could be better, but nothing I’d complain about for $15. Certainly wouldn’t complain about 10 hours of game at that price either..

  3. This has caught my interesr because it looks unique long and puzzling.good.

  4. I like the premise and design, and I certainly like the devs approach to sales/price.

  7. That game looks good, but I think they’ve just blown SCEE’s cover.
The final decision on pricing is taken by Sony and Microsoft.
Does this sound different to a certain line we hear parroted about regularly enough?

  8. For a indy downloadable game the graphics look fantastic.

  9. Hope its worth playing or even waiting….
