“After being tortured by Belltower agents and having his augmentations disabled,” says the press release, “Adam Jensen must rely solely on his basic capabilities to escape from a freighter, destined for an unknown location. While fighting for his survival on the ship, he uncovers another layer to the conspiracy that he never would have suspected.”

As Adam, gamers will befriend new, mysterious allies and fight ruthless enemies to discover what was happening in the shadows during the events of ‘Deus Ex: Human Revolution!”

Providing an average of four to six hours of compelling gameplay, players will be able to earn ten new achievements/trophies and 250 Xbox Gamerscore points.”

That’s right, an average of 4 to 6 hours of more Deus Ex. That’s longer than some other game campaigns. For the price it’s going for that is a bargain.

  1. That almost seems pricey since the game is about £16.99 on the GAME website now.

    • that’s what I was thinking

    • Just bought the LE for £16.99. Came with this DLC.

      • It shouldn’t have come with this DLC should it? It has literally just been released & will be on PSN today (weds 19th) apparently, so i am not sure how it could possibly be included.

My limited edition came with DLC called ‘The Explosive Mission Pack’ – You sure it isn’t that instead?

  2. Whilst that does seem like a decent length for a bit of DLC & isn’t just skins or some other tat (kudos to them for that), i do prefer my add-ons to be somewhat cheaper.

    But that’s just because i’m a cheapskate.

Besides, i might want to actually finish the game before i start to think about DLC for it! :S

  3. That is worth the price. Tis 4-6 hours worth of content. I’m glad that it is not a skin pack. I wonder if this is the first of a series of addons?

  4. I want to finish the main game but i just can’t seem to get the time atm. Nice bit of DLC but a bit too expensive for my liking.

  5. This makes me a little gutted that I traded in Deus Ex, I loved the game, played through it once, contemplated a platinum run but decided against as I didn’t want to tarnish my memories of it. Great game, thoroughly recommended to anyone.

    • Not too sure what it is, but I’m struggling a little to get into Deus Ex at the moment, loved the other games in the series and RPGs are usually my thing. I’m sure the story will suck me in sooner or later though.

One thing that may influence it is having just finished LA Noire, the characters all look about as emotive as ventriloquist’s dummies.

    • I’d usually agree with a platinum run tarnishing the overall experience of the game, but on this occasion after playing the game on normal difficulty the way I wanted to play it, going straight back in on hard, having to be 100% stealthy and not killing anyone whilst mopping up other story related trophies was probably one of the most rewarding platinum runs ever (for me anyway).

  6. Great news and I think it’s a fair price. I’ve just finished the main game so I’ll do this before I start my ‘Platinum Run’.

  7. Nice, I’ll be having that. Loved the game, I’ve only three trophies left until I get the platinum though as they’re the hardest ones I might get the DLC before I start that.

  8. Does seem a pound or two over the “ooh cheap/impulse” buy level in my mind.

  9. 4-6 hours brilliant might wait until Christmas if it’s £3.99 For PS+
    Will keep an eye out.

  10. Great price for length. Wish others would follow suit.
