Surprise! New Medal of Honor Hinted

This news is hardly going to shake the world of videogaming to its core. EA has been slipping little cards into the box with new copies of Battlefield 3 which have the almost ubiquitous online pass code printed on one side and a (not so) cryptic image on the other.

It looks very much like a teaser for a new Medal of Honor game. It’s not even remotely a surprise with the expectation being that EA will put Battlefield up against Infinity Ward years of Call of Duty and Medal of Honor will release in competition with Treyarch’s Call of Duty offerings on what used to be odd years.

I personally really enjoyed Medal of Honor, although I could see a few flaws and avoided the multiplayer mode. What did you guys think? Ready for another go around with it?

  1. Clever. EA can get MoH to release 1 year, then BF the next. That means they can still compete against COD, but will be able to say they aren’t churning out a game each year for each franchise as they want ‘quality’.
Would love to see it being a WW2 shooter, but I doubt that’s going to happen.

  2. Loved the MOH reboot. Looking forward to continuing the story. Glad they haven’t given up on it.

  3. I really enjoyed the Singleplayer in the last game, even though it was far to short. I won’t go into the multiplayer. All I’ll say is it was dreadful. I hope this time that Danger Close do all of the game themselves and not like DICE make a mess of their multiplayer again.

  4. As I only really play the single player modes of these games anyway, they all play pretty much the same to me (as in, Modern Warfare, Bad Company and the most recent Medal of Honor, I’m not including Homefront on grounds of shit-ness), so more games to play is a good thing. They all play like a Michael Bay movie infused with caffeine doing lines of sherbert in the back of a classroom, and for my money, there’s nothing wrong with that.

  5. Loved the Medal of Honor singleplayer campaign, but the multiplayer was pretty crap if I’m honest. Somehow it changed from being awesome (during beta) to feeling a little empty and unbalanced.

  6. I loved the first one, I thought the single player was brilliant and the multiplayer was poor

  7. Loved the last one, will defo be getting this one as well. Didn’t – and won’t – play online, though.

  8. Loved this game enough to make it my third plat. Hope there is a sequel, also, I love the logos they used for each team in the last game, and the above one.

  9. loved the SP of the first one hope it is a little longer this time.
