Win A Copy Of Uncharted 3

Hello, how is everyone today? I hope you’re all okay. I just wanted to let you know that yesterday I spent a sizeable portion of the day struggling with the fact that I didn’t yet have my grubby little hands on a copy of Uncharted 3. I sat there, working at my computer, seething with rage that I wasn’t playing the latest in the Uncharted saga yet. It was threatening to consume my very being. So I nipped out and bought a copy. Problem solved.

But while I was planning my little excursion to buy the latest PlayStation 3 blockbuster, I spared a thought for all those of you who, for whatever reason, don’t yet have the game. So when I finally made it to the shop, I bought two. Now I’m going to give one away to one of you lucky little blighters. Because that’s how we roll here at TSA. Except Kris, he’s a right stingy old beggar *.

Let’s keep it nice and simple though, shall we? Why don’t you tell us about your most treasured possession in the comments below and at 17:00 GMT today, we’ll have a poke around the comments and pick the one we like best. The author of that comment will receive a copy of the game in the post just as soon as we can get their address from them and the postal service can find their house.

Our usual T&Cs apply, as ever, and our decision is final so no grumpy faces if you don’t win, okay? Oh, and have a read of our review, it took Alex about a month. And that’s just the sandy background.

* This is not actually true. Kris has, in the past, sent me cookies in the mail and given me awesome robot socks.

Update: Sorry folks, it took me ages to read through all of the entries! I’ve picked a winner now though, because of the sentiment and also the extra little attention to (peculiar) detail, hannes_truce is the winner of UC3. However, because I bought the games in Sainsbury’s, I also got two £25 PSN vouchers and stories from grimm and adamguest1985 resonated with me and with Uncharted 3 so I’ll send each of them a £25 code in their emails too.

Right, now bugger off and click some ads or something, I’m skint!

  1. My most treasured possession is my PS3. My PS3 is my baby, hurt it and I’ll have to kill you. I wouldn’t be able to play the Uncharted 3 that I won without it! ;)

  2. My most favourite possession would have to be my little man (Harry). If you’ve been in the motorstorm meets with me and had the luck of hearing him you’d know why. He’s my best friend and funny as hell!

    • He also thinks Teflon smells like wee and poo and does a great impression of r1mjaw.

  3. Mine has to be a chest that my great grandfather made.
He was in the Royal Navy and served aboard the HMS Victory for a while.
When there was some refitting to be done, he saved some of the wood and made lamps, tables and the chest that was passed to me from my father.
He was discharged from the Navy after be struck by a hawser (one of those massive cables used to moor a ship) at Portsmouth docks.
I never knew him, but today it holds my ever-expanding collection of games and is a nice reminder of him and this country’s history.

  4. When my nana died in 2009, I went over to her house to help clear out and just have one last look around. Unfortunately most of my “family” had cleared it out, taking everything of value and not bothering to help tidy up. While I was cleaning I found a little necklace thing with a picture of the Virgin Mary on it, and kept that as a reminder that she had her faith till the end and she’s happy where she is now.

That and my son, obviously. He rules (and he’s a gamer – when he was 6 months old he was sat on my knee and knocked the control stick when I was bowling on The Ashes game, and took a wicket. Legend baby.)

  5. Hmm most treasured possession…

Well, I don’t think I possess my pets so can’t really go with that…

Is it bad I am struggling to think of anything?

I possess very little of worth it seems…

  6. I would say my most treasured possession will be my PC. I live in the middle of nowhere so use my PC for just about everything, from keeping in touch with friends and family to doing most of my shopping and, most important of all, being part of the TSA community.

  7. I’d have to say my Grandad’s signet ring.
I wear it on a chain around my neck, never comes off, ever :) nearly lost a job over it too!

“Health & Safety states you can’t work while wearing…”
    “I’ll leave then.”
“Errr…but…well…leave it on then, but I don’t know anything about it.”

  8. My most treasured possession is my car. It’s silver, fast, and I wash it every week to keep it looking amazing. It has never let me down… yet.

  9. My family

  10. My most treasured possession is my heart. If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t be here and a world without me is so crushing to think about! =P Also my missus now has it so is it still mine? =o Gahhhh!

One other is this cookie in front of me…well it was in front of me just… honest… 0_0
