Assassin’s Creed: Revelations DLC Next Month

Unfortunately this was skipped over during yesterday’s unscheduled site implosion, but it seems that the latest entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be getting some DLC next month.

Due out on 13th December, the Ancestors Character Pack will be priced at 320 Microsoft Points/$3.99 and include four new multiplayer characters (the Privateer, Corsair, Brigand and the Gladiator), who each have unique taunts, weapons and assassination moves.

  1. I’m afraid I’m going to pass really hate DLC nowadays beside I aready like my character with some costumations added and a good taunt so I’m with mine.
The Ancestors Character Pack can sod off!

  2. Oh for Animus’s sake! The game hasn’t even been out for a week yet and there is already DLC planned for next month. It seems that AC is Ubi’s cash cow. :-/ I bet they were cut out of the game just to flog back to us.

    • Ah, but no-one is making you buy them are they? As it has been mentioned by others, there seems to be a fair choice over who you play as already in the game, so these should be seen as merely additions.

Buy ’em if you want them, don’t if you don’t i guess.

  3. *yawn* not even worth it.

  4. Not bad but the game already has a lot of characters. So might just stick to them.

  5. I hate DLC like this. Wish people wouldn’t buy it so that it went away..

  6. I hate DLC. Especially the time that arrives the first month from the game’s release!

  7. I have an idea, a bit ‘out there’ but can you imagine if, like, you buy a game on a disc, and on that disc is the whole game? Everything included? Maybe they could make it so you can play the game to a certain standard and then ‘unlock’ hidden features. I don’t know. I have a vague memory of this happening in the past but it must have been a dream.
