  1. that was…..informative

  2. It’s a teaser for a teaser! I love the world of modern gaming advertising…

  3. I don’t see why people complain about the lack of gameplay in short teasers like this. I’d rather it was an exiting short glimpse of what the games about rather than often confusing vague glimpses of gameplay.

  4. I can’t say I’m 100% sure that isn’t gameplay…

    • Way too shiny to be gameplay.

      • Oops, just noticed you beat me there with the “me Grimlock” ref, what is it they say about great minds, they plagiarise, right?

  5. Me Grimlock say want more footage.

  6. Ohhhhhh they did this last year! Cannot wait for the full one then! :D

  7. Grimlock looks a total badass in these videos, just like he should be.

put that grimlock in the live action movies and i don’t think many people will complain.

hell, if they can have a giant snake/tentacle monster that eats buildings, Grimlock turning into a robot t-rex isn’t that much of a stretch.

    • I hope Grimlock is in the next movie as well as the game. So badass. He singlehandedly (singleclawedly?) just sold the game to me.

  8. Never tried a Transformers game. I’m not too big on the movies either. Still haven’t seen the 3rd one. Seeing as I grew up with the cartoon, perhaps that’s the reason…… All these sooopa dooopa graphics n’ that… I want a 2d scrolling beat-em up :D

    • have you tried the armada game on ps2?
it’s not based on the G1 series but it is one of the best, if not the best, transformers games.
there was a feature on it here a couple of weeks back.

i’m sure i remember reading about a transformers based one on one fighter years ago, with the g1 characters, but it never made it outside japan.
