Bloomberg seem to be confident that the iPad 3 will go on sale in March this year and will boast a ‘Retina’ display alongside a quad core processor.
Bloomberg’s insider said ‘the pixels are small enough to make the images look like printed material’ and ‘videos begin playing almost instantly because of the additional graphics processing.’
The iPad is also said to be able to connect to ‘LTE’ networks, a standard for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones and data terminals – also known as 4G.
Bloomberg’s source says the Chinese production line for iPad 3 is running twenty four hours a day but will halt for the Chinese New Year next week.

Still very happy with my iPad 2, I don’t think iPad 3 will have to offer make me want to upgrade – unless they do part-exchange!!

Since late November I’ve been getting closer and closer to buying an iPad 2, watching people left right and center picking them up so I’m delighted I held off.
Now all I need is news of a new iMac and I’ll be over the moon!

Quite happy with iPad 2.
If the main improvements are screen and processing (graphics, really) I don’t really need it.
My main uses for iPad are internet browsing and e-reading, I don’t really need a boost just yet.

Hmm I just bought a iPad 2, could sell it and get a 3 or just keep the 2 and get the 4.

It’s the thing with technology, there is always a slight upgrade around the corner. If you wait for the ‘best’ one, you’ll wait forever. Decide on your requirements and price limit and then buy what meets them.
