Another week, another Store update. And thanks to Sony’s tinkering, you should even be able to download this selection.

[videoyoutube]There’s a brand new 3rd person action game called Malicious which is available for PS3. It’s a series of boss battles without all of that tedious dungeon-crawling, apparently. Based on some sort of magic cloak and a world full of evil. Sounds bonkers.

We also get the chance, a little later than originally planned, to download The Simpsons Arcade Game (free for PS+ subscribers). Gotham City Impostors arrives with a towel tied around its neck for a cape and priced at £11.99. There are some full game additions, including Catherine and Mortal Kombat for £29.99 each, as well as the downloadable sequel, Shank 2.

  5. Not much for me, probably just the FFXIII-2 DLC.

    • That is all I will be getting, since the Omega fight is probably too hard for him to be any use in the near future I’m hoping Lightning is a bit easier.

  6. Not a bad update for me! I think Simpsons arcade for sure, possibly give malicious a whirl and may even purchase Mafia 2. Not bad at all.

  7. Nothing for me this week – got YLOD on Monday night and its being fixed and will be a week and half. Although I will have to download all of plus stuff when I get it back as the store mess up didn’t allow me to just before it went YLOD on me. =[

    • Mine died on me last week, its the third one i’ve had!
      managed to repair it tho :) never opened up a ps3 before.
      Its running better than it did for a long time!

      Looking forward to the simpsons game, excellent thats its 100% off for plusers

  8. Was considering Gotham, then I saw all 105 DLC items on the Live Store.

    Totally takes the water.

    Simpsons and Shank 2 for me.

    • Seems most of those items are ingame unlocks panda although i agree it is a little offputting.
      The games fun actually although i’m not sure for how long yet.

      • why play through a game when you can buy all the unlocks?

        it’s surely only a matter of time until somebody sells a play the game for you pack as dlc.

      • They do seem odd these advanced unlocks to me to Haz but i guess their a harmless enough way to garner more profit.

    • It’s already been reported that they are purely cosmetic items, so there’s no pay to win model.
