PSN Store Update: 15/02/12

Dan Lee 15/02/12 99 Comments

The big news with this week’s Store update is the large amount of PS2 Classics that have been released. You can find the full list below, but a couple that stand out are God Hand and SSX On Tour.

There are also two big demos out this week. Mass Effect 3 will be the obvious choice, but Binary Domain certainly looks interesting enough to warrant a download.

Awesome update! I’ll be getting Far Cry for free :) And, Toy Sotry 3 – is that the game that was released last year? For £3.99? If so, sold!

According to Joel from FrozenByte’s comment from last weeks store post, it won’t be out here until late February or early March, more likely early March.

Happy to see Road Trip Adventure, that was a surprisingly fun game and for £3.99 is a an immediate sale. Other than that, SSX and God Hand, though, I’m a bit underwhelmed with the PS2 classics.

Haha I laughed so hard when I saw Road Trip Adventure up there. That’s a definite buy for me as well.

So much for my plan to skip the ME3 demo, i couldn’t resist when i saw it on US store last night! :)
I might give FC2 another try as it’s free on plus.
Odd there’s still no sign of Trine 2 :(

scee is a frakking joke.
only the joke’s on us.
they get to keep getting paid to be more useless than nick leason’s accountant and we get screwed out of content we bought and paid for.

seems they’re too lazy, or stupid, possibly both, to fix the minis festive sale issue, so they’re giving up.

http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/Technical-Help/PSN-Pick-n-Mix-Minis-transfer-problems/m-p/15080463/highlight/true#M112395

“Hi guys,

Obviously you are all aware that the minis in the Pick n Mix offer had a fault meaning they could not be transferred to another console. We sent out voucher codes to a number of consumers who originally reported that they were unable to transfer their purchased content to another consolein an attempt to fix the problem.

Unfortunately we have experienced technical difficulties with these vouchers and have been unable to correct the issue. As such if you have purchased these minis and you are not satisfied with only using them on one console then you can obtain a refund. This can be done in the usual manor by contacting your local PlayStation support who can process the refund for you.

Once again please accept my apologies for the inconvenience that this situation has caused you.

Any questions feel free to ask,”

scee folks, what a wonderful company.

how do these people even remember how to breath every morning?

seriously, this is the most shambolic excuse for a company i’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with.

and even if i wanted to, and i had originally planned to buy Zenonia on it’s own before this, i’m going to be forever prevented from rebuying any of them.

so i will never be able to play any of those games on my psp.

That’s a news story in itself. They do seem prone to idiocy.

Oh, and I think Leason’s accountant knew what he was doing. Loving the reference though.

SCEE, We only cock up a lot. That should be their new slogan.

Seriously, they need to sort themselves out if they were a retailer, they would have been put out bussiness by their incompentence.

I have a feeling Sony are going to bring in a 3 tier price structure for PS2 games. This first bunch are fairly cheap. Next lot slightly higher then final premium ones after that.
