Looks like someone pressed the button early, as some Assassin’s Creed III screens have appeared on the Internet. First impressions are that the game seems wildly different from its predecessors in terms of the visual style.
I’ve never been a huge AC fan, but this change of setting has me intrigued.

the 2nd picture looks like he’s hunting deer which could be an interesting side quest, red dead style. Not sure if the hidden blade has made a switch for the tomohawk too which looks cool. Can’t wait till March 5th now :)
Death_In_Flamez
Oooooooooooohhhhhhh aaaaaaaaah!!!! :D I LOVE the look of this game.
Rocket_345
Cool. Will have to get into Revelations at some point. This looks good though.
Origami Killer
Looking good. reminds me a bit of RDR :)
Cappadocius
Seems like he’s about to go injun on some poor brits. Perhaps there is hope for the series after all..?
acridweasel
Which will be interesting, as he’s half-English…

Hope?? I did not really see anything wrong with the series. I personally have always played AC for the excellent historical story. I always makes me think whether stuff like this could have really been going on. Gameplay is a second to me as far as AC goes. This is also True for Mass Effect series as well LOL
Sympozium
Hmm, I think they’ll need to change the gameplay a bit make it less familar to the previous creeds.

3 of the screenies are completely devoid of buildings? Is ubisoft abandoning all the work they’ve done on the free running system?
yiddo
According to Game Informer you can now scale cliffs and trees like you would have buildings/walls etc. The Assassin is also called Connor and is half Native american, half white english.

Screens look amazing, I just hope they change the style from the previous games where it’s all 1 city focused, I want more variety.
