THQ has announced that all Darksiders 2 pre-orders will be upgraded to the Limited Edition at no extra cost. The Limited Edition will include the game as well as voucher with a code to grab the first DLC, entitled Argul’s Tomb, for free. As well as the Limited Edition deal THQ have also revealed the Collector’s Edition for Darksiders II. The Collector’s Edition will include:
- Darksiders II Game
- The Argul’s Tomb code
- A life sized Death mask replica with stand
- Shadow of Death armour
- A Scythe with upgraded stats
- Digital Copy of the Darksiders II soundtrack
- A hardback Darksiders II Art book
The Collector’s Edition is expected to retail at $99. No Euro or Pound prices were revealed.
“The Darksiders II fans spoke and we listened, we are thrilled to be able to offer them a high quality Collector’s Edition and to reward gamers who pre-order with a free upgrade to the Limited Edition,” said Jim Huntley, VP of Global Brand Marketing.
Darksiders II will released on PS3, Xbox 360 & PC on the 26th of June in North America and on the 29th June in Europe.

I just pre-ordered my copy in case it does happen in the UK :) the demo for Darksiders was simply the best. Here’s hoping that Darksiders 2 can improve on whatever was wrong with the original and more (I don’t remember there being anything wrong..)

They’ll have my pre-order, this looks to be a great game! The collectors edition seems cool with the mask and book, as it’ll have sketches by Joe Mad.
