Check out new European cars and locations from GRID 2. “From the climbs, plunges and hairpins of the Côte d’Azur to the magnificent boulevards of Paris and the undulating tarmac at the state-of-the-art Algarve International Circuit, you’ll have to take on Europe’s finest Racing Clubs across a range of events to become the rising star of World Series Racing,” says the PR.

Patch Snatch: The details of the Borderlands 2 patch for PS3 have been issued, nothing major but plenty of bug fixes.

Dinosaurs are cool, almost as a cool as robots that turn into trucks, and last week’s trailer for Primal Carnage: Genesis grabbed my attention. The team have said that they are “definitely aiming to be a launch title” and that they “have 9 months left.”

So that is… January. Hmmm.

Perhaps the mean “Launch window title” rather than a day one title. The team have also said they want to “make the absolute best single player dinosaur game that the world has been waiting for.”

The ESRB has rated Best of PlayStation Network Vol. 1 which contains Fat Princess, Tokyo Jungle, When Vikings Attack! and Sound Shapes. Apparently one of these games contains the lyrics “My anaconda don’t want none unless you’ve got buns, hon.”

Long time readers may recall a post about getting game soundtracks into the Classic FM hall of fame and it has worked, huzzah! The Final Fantasy soundtracks were voted into third place and kudos to Classic FM for their comments:

“The level of interest in the scores to these games should not be underestimated. Concerts of Final Fantasy music sell out across the world, with Uematsu often in attendance and the kind of fanbase most pop stars would be envious of. One gets the impression, though, that none of it would be worth it if the tunes didn’t stand up to scrutiny. They certainly do.”

Capcom have released the results of their “Who is the bestest punchy person in Street Fighter” poll and Ryu came first followed by Ken, Akuma, Chun-Li and Cammy.

Zangief, who is obviously the best, came sixteenth.

And Finally, William Shatner plays the new Star Trek game with an old pal.

  1. I’m looking forward to Grid 2 just so long as the cars really don’t handle like they’ve been set up for a drifting competition like they seem to be in that video.

  2. I’m surprised you washed over the Borderlands 2 patch with such pace. There’s a lot of major improvements to the game that have basically completely changed the way it can be played.
And I’ve seen no mention of the Diamond Loot Chest on this site either. I’d call that news. (http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/f497/?srp=7)
