Ubisoft Detail Ghost Recon PC, Release Date

Ubisoft have detailed the PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, including the release date, which is June 15th, both in store and via digital download.

The PC version will feature “high standard” visuals, including DirectX11, new high res assets, post processing effects and multi-monitor and 3D support.  It’s enhanced for DX11 especially, with tessellation, better lighting and – yes – fog.

There’s enhanced online stuff too – Party, Friends and Ghost Feed functionality can be accessed at any moment from any screen via a “widget” and there’s a “simplified and more flexible invitation system” and party text chat out of the box.

I’ve uploaded a screenshot of the PC version here.

Ubisoft advise a “temporary broadband connection” will be required for a one-time registration, but then on one will only be needed during online modes.

We went hands on with the game, here.
