Dragon’s Dogma Demo Deploying

Capcom has just confirmed that their upcoming monster-packed RPG will be getting a demo. Dan has had a bit of time with it already and we posted our preview this morning. It’s shaping up to be quite an interesting proposition but there are a couple of odd elements like the Pawn system so a demo seems like an excellent idea.

Apparently, you’ll get a party of three Pawns and you’ll be able to experience the differing styles of two of the game’s classes:

A melee specialist skilled in both attacks and counterattacks, as the Fighter you will make your way through underground tunnels and chambers before taking on the deadly Chimerain a Prologue quest, set before the events of the main game.

Swift and nimble, the Strider’s weapons of choice are bow and daggers, use them well if you are to defeat the mighty Griffin in the open plains surrounding the capital of Gransys.

The game is due on May 22nd in North America and the 25th in Europe but the demo will be out a full month earlier, on the 24th April in North America and the 25th in Europe. It’s coming to the PSN and XBLA too, so nobody need miss out.

  1. I hope this is great but its a shame about the lack of co-op, could easily succeed Monster Hunter in some way but ah well should be good.

Since there be dragons I wonder if they’d sneak in Lao Shan Long… YEAH!!

  2. Oh yes a whole month before the games out. Will give this a go.

  3. Looking forward to giving this a go.

  4. great.
    looks promising.

  5. knowing Capcom we’ll have to pay to unlock the demo

  6. Niiice.

  7. Was probably going to rent the game anywho given it has an RE6 demo attached to it.
