Norway Killer Breivik Says He “Trained On Videogames”

CNN is reporting that Anders Behring Breivik, who killed 77 people in Norway last Summer, “trained” using videogames, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in particular.

The Norwegian, who has admitted to the murders and claims that he murdered his victims “to fight multiculturalism” also apparently played World of Warcraft for up to 16 hours a day, which doesn’t leave much time for anything else.

The article goes into depth about his apparent motives and actions, but doesn’t dwell or expand further on the headline.

  1. Did he get a MOAB? I’ll get my coat…

  2. One man who happened to play two of the highest selling games of all time along millions of others did something evil and the games get blamed. Figures.

This is very old news though.

  3. Not sure if he is telling the truth or is using gaming as a way to get a reduced sentence. The fucking scum. Oh, i’m not calling him scum because of that, but because of what he did.

If he did train using COD, then that is a bit of a crap way to train. Getting shouted at and insulted, getting shot by campers. Would have thought that a more realistic FPS would have been used.

If i see a single Daily Rag go “Are you kids being trained to kill by Activision?” tomorrow, i won’t be held responsible for my actions. *sheaths blade*

  4. Stuff like this really grates on me! i read an article last year were an American man who killed his son and daughter then his wife and blammed it on Eminem lyrics hypnotizing him!
