The title of EA’s next Need For Speed has been revealed, and it’s another case of the publisher going back over past games in the series – this time it’s Most Wanted, last used in 2005.
According to rumours, the game is due out in November and there’s going to be a trailer and an official website kicking off soon, with full reveals at E3 in a few days. Police will (naturally) return, as will – hopefully – the wonderful open road gameplay that I loved so much about the first game.
Oh, and Razor.
The same source also points to Dead Space 3 gracing the front covers of a few magazines next month, so expect E3 to spill the details on that one too.

need for speed the run was very good . bring on the past of NFS

Less The run more Hot Pursuit and i’m interested. Criterion did hot pursuit so here’s hoping.

Criterion, I presume?
Such a shame they’ve been taken off Burnout duties simply because of MegaCorp publisher’s decision to back NfS instead.
Dead Space 3? Felt the second didn’t capture the original’s isolation & horror… A 3rd will probably further go down a different path in an effort to sell more online passes & DLC. (forgetting that Dead Space became a viable franchise thanks to the pre-owned market after EA proudly boasted it had sild only 1.5m copies but had been played by 4.5 users given it the market it needed)
Dante’s 2 instead please.

Meh Most wanted. Would rather have had Underground 3 or a new Burnout.

Is it Criterion? Most Wanted and Underground 1 were my favourites of the old NFS, loved hot pursuit, I’d be very excited if this was Criterion.

NFS hasn’t been the same since ps2 days, they took away the best part of the game customisation, that’s why I loved NFS over midnight club but now pssh
Rocket_345
Totally agree. The best part of the old games was starting off with a slow Golf or something along those lines and turning it into a beast.

Yep, I loved the series on PS2 and the earlier PS3 games. Have owned every game up to Shift. Got Shift2 free (Plus) but haven’t played it much and didn’t bother with The Run.
MICKY17
Absolutely loved Most Wanted on PS2 so I’m really hoping this is good. I wouldn’t care if it was just a HD remake personally.

Put in some split screen racing and I’ll buy it. If they dont do that then it’s a miss from me. Prostreet, undercover, hot pursit and (only played parts) the Run have all been average, even quite shite tbh. NFS series needs to sort its self out. Take note of how good Underground 2 was and capitalize on that.

I just hope they won’t use that drift the corners mechanic. I’d rather if the cars had grip. Love Most Wanted.

Here’s hoping that it’s exactly like the original, and it’ll be released on Vita. Most Wanred was the best racer on PS2

The acting in that video was embarassing!
