Danny Bilson Leaves THQ, Jason Rubin Now President

THQ’s new president co-founded Uncharted developers Naughty Dog, and was the co-creator for Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter.

“Jason’s proven track record in the industry speaks for itself, and he is one of the brightest minds in the business,” said Brian Farrell, THQ’s CEO. “We believe he can be a game changer and can contribute immensely to executing on our strategy of delivering quality connected core game experiences.”

Danny Bilson is “leaving to pursue other interests.”

  1. Seems like a good fit then, as he has some pedigree by the looks of things.
I wish THQ all the best, as they do make some really good games I do enjoy, they’re just not as popular as the CoD’s and Battlefield’s of todays gaming landscape.

  2. That’s a great catch for THQ, hope to see some good stuff come of it.
