Ratchet & Clank games have always skirted the edge of decency with their innuendo. I mean, “A Crack in Time”? Come on… But the latest one, issued as part of Insomniac’s celebrations for the series’ ten year anniversary, is going all serious on us.
Ratchet & Clank: QForce will make its way onto the PSN for PlayStation 3 later this year and will feature a return to the classic third person viewpoint and plenty of the usual insane weaponry that the series is known and loved for.
Ted Price, CEO of Insomniac says on the PS Blog that it’s a fun sized download and retail game so we assume something akin to Quest for Booty (see? That’s a proper Ratchet and Clank subtitle!).
There’s a packshot and the promise of new ways to play with friends thanks to the online capabilities of modern consoles. Sounds like online co-op to me, but I’m only guessing.

I did like Quest for Booty but just when i was getting into it it ended. The DLC short story thing fills me with emptiness once completed.
R&C is one of my most favourite game series of all time, I hope they dont keep putting out the fractional experiences as much as the full ones.

Oh…. i should also add that CiT was the worst so far. Seemed to lack the humour and vast side objectives the others had.
Cant wait for the HD collection in a months time. Will be so happy to play them all over again in crispy HD.

Splendid! I thought that CiT was a cracking game….see what I did there :O, so if that game is considered one of the worst in the series then I should be very happy with any new R&C game released ;)

Wow, this is a surprise! Shame its a PSN game though, would love a full game. Hopefully a Blu-Ray will appear like Quest 4 Booty

If i remember right, the original name for a crack in time was going to be clock blockers, but that didnt get past sonys ethics department by a long shot.
I think the second ones US name was “going commando” too
