Warner Brothers has announced ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’, a new fighting game set in the DC Universe and created by NetherRealm Studios, the team behind the recent Mortal Kombat game.
Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman are amongst the characters who will be fighting ‘in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred.’
A website for the game shows various characters and the iconic sculpture from The Daily Planet amidst piles of rubble.
It’s coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

So it’s basically Mortal Kombat vs DC, without Mortal Kombat?

Well, it looks closer in style to the latest MK which to me is a good thing. It’s sticking to 2D rather than the 3D of DCvMK, which is also good. I think they learnt from the mistakes of DCvMK (hopefully) and has got me excited for this. It’s also rumoured to have the same amount of fighters as MK which means around another 20 fighters are to be named.
