PSN ‘Unplanned Maintenance’ Now Over

The ‘intermittent issue’ that was plaguing the PSN yesterday turned out to be unplanned maintenance.

In fact it was so unplanned no one at Sony seemed to be aware of it and referred to the problem as an ‘intermittent issue’. That must have took a serious amount of unplanning.

The ‘maintenance’ has has now been completed.

Join us next Thursday when Sony announce and then cancel a series on intermittent maintenance periods, planned, unplanned and as special treat, one that is hiding in a cupboard ready to burst out as a hilarious surprise!

  1. it would be nice to know what this maintenace was for

  2. I bet they were hacked and hid it

  3. No idea what this maintenance is but I do know there’s still still something wrong…

On a minor note – Burnout Paradise seems to be included under the section of games starting with a letter T-V… but I have another problem – although I’m not complaining about it.

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition – I downloaded the demo ages ago but never played it, and later deleted it to free up some HDD space. Now, when I go into the discounts section of the PS+ page, it’s listing the game at a price of £15.99 – but it’s also giving me the icon that I’ve already bought it – and I know for certain that I haven’t as I’m not a fan of the RE series.

Oh well, a glitch dishing out free games is nothing to complain about – just hope Sony don’t read this before it’s finished downloading…

    • Did you download a full game trial of Resi and never play it?
Because that’s what happens when you do.

      • Pretty sure that is what I did (or didn’t do so to speak!)

It is just RE5 that foes this?

  4. I dont know what they have done but everytime i look at a trophy it allways wants to sync, each time i look at my profile….. it wants to sync, like i mean everytime. I think it mite be time for a firmware update.
