The holy grail of games still awaiting trophies – Metal Gear Solid 4 – will finally get a patch to enable the virtual silverware.
The news comes via an interview with Hideo Kojima in this week’s Famitsu magazine over in Japan, and whilst there’s no date set yet for the patch, MGS4 is getting a budget release in August.
Konami is also supposed to be holding a Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary Event on August 30th.
Thanks, AndriaSang.

Sweet. I’ve ordered MGS HD on the vita. Ive had 4 since release, never played a MGS game before that. I watched a mate play MGS on the ps1. I played the first chapter of 4, really enjoyed it but stopped playing it, no idea why. So i’m gonna read about 1, play 2&3 then restart 4. Exciting times…… Although with my backlog, i may finish them by the time a new one arrives!

They should give us a platinum for us just for watching those lengthy cut scenes that take forever to end. Some of them are longer than 60 minutes. That’s for a movie’s, not a game cinematic.
