Custom Halo 4 Xbox 360 Will Cost £270

Special Edition Xbox 360s are nothing new, they’ve been making fancy limited edition alterations since the days of removable faceplates. The latest one, for Halo 4, is quite special. The console and the controller are both translucent, with a smoky dark blue and grey colour scheme.

The bundle comes with two pack-in controllers (in the gallery below), a copy of the game, some download tokens for avatar and game content and a 320GB Xbox 360. It will cost £269.99.

In addition, there will also be a custom controller sold separately. This is different from the ones packed in with the console, as you can see.

There’s no mention of what custom sounds the console makes when it powers on and opens the disc tray.

  1. Hm now where can I get £270 from?

  2. Quite like that,. almost tempted.

  3. Joypad looks awesome, price does not!

why doesn’t Sony ever do stuff like this?

    • To be honest the look of the original PS3 looks better than this.

      • I agree with you there but it would be nice to have a ps3 mgs4 Joypad or even uncharted or killzone. I did see a gold ps3 joypad in hmv last week and it was 5 pound cheaper then the original which left me confused?

    • Sony only seem to do it in Japan sadly, their Final Fantasy XII PS3 looked awesome:

    • Don’t think the price is too bad. Current Xbox 360 is £90 less on Amazon, but only has one controller and you don’t get a game with it (plus the hard-disk is 70GB smaller). Game’ll be about £40 and controllers are about £25, so they’re only adding £25 for the “limited edition” aspect.

  4. That looks awesome. Kinda wish I hadn’t bought my Gears one last week now lol

  5. Looks cool, but I prefer my consoles to look understated.

  6. looks alright that but prefer my consoles to have PS3 on them. ;)

    • Tiz the nicest lookin limited edition 360 so far though in my opinion.
