The most important news of the year* has been announced by GAME.
The store has secured the ‘classic G1’ skin for Optimus Prime in the forthcoming ‘Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron’ game.
“Play as the leader of the Autobots in his original robot and vehicle forms,” trumpets GAME – although anyone who has half a brain cell will note that this is “Masterpiece” G1 version of Optimus, not the 1980s robot.
The skin can be used in both single and multiplayer and you will also receive a Megatron styled pistol and a lovely purple ‘Shockwave’ cannon.

The G1 Megatron gun looks sort of like the scoped Walther PPK, but the Shockwave one is daft, looks nothing like G1 Shockwave’s alt mode.
I like to think that Masterpiece Prime is exactly how he would have looked in the 80’s cartoon, if they had access to a limitless animation budget.

Exactly this. Shockwave looks nothing like what he did in G1. Pretty cool pack but may skip it as it’s bound to come out as DLC.
