A double-leak over the last few hours seems to have revealed a whole new bunch of characters and stages for Sony’s upcoming mascot brawler – firstly, a user on Reddit released a bunch of images of yet-unveiled stages, followed by more unreleased details coming from NeoGAF users rooting around in the files from the newly-released beta.
Let’s take a look at the stages first: as well as ones we already know about, there are (what look to be texture) files for Alden’s Tower (inFamous), Black Rock Stadium (Twisted Metal), Columbia (Bioshock Infinite), Franzea (LocoRoco), Invasion (Killzone), Paris (Sly Cooper), San Fransisco (Resistance), Timestation (Ape Escape), Stowaways (probably Uncharted, given the similarity to the name of the cargo plane level in the third instalment). The Reddit leak seems to confirm six of those stages, with obnoxiously-watermarked images:
A hard-to-see image from Reddit also suggests that Sackboy, new Dante, Raiden, Sir Daniel Fortesque and Nariko will all be appearing in the game. The beta list on GAF, if legit, seems to confirm a number of these – Dante, Nariko, Raiden, Ratchet, Sackboy, and Spike from Ape Escape all appear in the beta files. Evil Cole is also in there, and animation files labelled ‘sackboy’ in the folder for every other character suggests that he will either be able to replicate other characters, or sack-them-up with one of his supers.
All of this is unconfirmed by Superbot, naturally, with the next official reveal to come at Gamescom next month. The Reddit leaker suggests there is more to come (unofficially) today.

I don’t think they would have two stages from the same game. Cargo plane sounds like a safer bet but I don’t know how they would pull it off.

I would like to see a ‘Monkey/Ape’ from Ape Escape to in the game. That would be FUNNY;) Or millions of them as a Power up :P + i prefer just SONY Exclusive characters really :P

Batman? Sorry, i’ve got him on my mind atm. *insert smutty joke here* I doubt that Sony or Superbot would put those horrible watermarks on the leaked images as they usually leak images that are watermark free(barring the logo of the sites).

As Steven said, the watermarking doesn’t seem like a thing they’d do. But then again, that may be why. Or perhaps it’s to make clear that it is a “leak”, as I don’t see why anyone would do it. But no matter who did it, they’ll most likely have something to say as a response. And that response could follow with a new trailer or something showing off the new stages.

So there is not a single FF character so far. I would have thought at least a FF7 character would appear due to how that helped to sell the PS1. Oh and because i just want to hear a certain FF song on the FF stage. :)

Including ‘new’ Dante (le sigh) and Columbia seems more like an advertisement than an all-star honouring, considering they’re from games that have yet to be released. And I hope Evil Cole is just an alternate costume.
Other than that, these all seem like great additions :) If Heihachi and Toro are rivals, they simply MUST make Jak and Ratchet rivals. Great to see some Ape Escape stuff make the cut too.
The question remains though; what will all these new levels be mashed up with?

Wanna bet that sackboy is able to mimic all the other characters by putting on a LBP costume of them? That’s probably the sackboy notation in each other character. Want to use Evil Cole’s powers? Toss on the Evil Cole sackboy costume and go to town.
Makes a lot of sense to make him a mimic character really.

I wasn’t really interested in this but the prospect of taking on the heroes and villains of Playstation while playing as Loco Roco sounds absurdly thrilling and fun! :D
I’m also quite happy to see Nariko included, she should never have been confined to just one game.
