Angry Birds Trilogy Launch Trailer

Angry Birds developer Rovio has released a new trailer to celebrate the launch of the Angry Birds Trilogy on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

The live action trailer shows the titular birds attacking innocent humans who seem inordinately happy that their cars and barbecues are being destroyed.

It’s a bit surreal to be honest, if the back windscreen of your car had just been smashed would you be grinning like a loon?

The trilogy includes the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio, nineteen new levels, Kinect and Move support and flock of achievements and trophies.

It’s about £25.

  1. I giggled at ‘pig out’.

  2. I don’t understand why isn’t there a PS Vita version, it makes sense to play this game in the Vita platform.

Let’s wait for a Vita version :) Ps3 Cross buy would be the cherry on top of the cake.

  3. Great commercial IMHO, the absurdity of the attacks v the reactions work perfectly.
And I hate to admit, it made me want to play AB all over again. Again.

    • Ah, lovely trailer. Agreed. Couldn’t ask more from it to be honest. We know the game inside out and the fact that a commercial has me wanting to play it one more time speaks volumes.

  4. Does anyone else think that paying £25 for Angry Birds is severely retarded?

    • I missed that last bit. Ouch! I’ll wait for half price or less.

  5. Live action trailers are the best. They’re so stupidly bad I actually have a soft spot for them.

  6. Only 20£ overpriced!

  7. £25!?

I’d pay a up to a fiver and that’s it.

  8. Dat price… >_>
I understand that it takes some effort to port a game to a completely new platform and higher resolutions might call for new artwork but surely by now everyone who ever wanted to play Angry Birds got it. Basically it’s a second purchase (at least) and the games aren’t brand new anymore so there’s no way they should ask 25 Pounds for the bundle…

  9. The mini works fine on Vita and serves me well enough.

    • Oh, btw someone has made an Angry Birds LBP Vita level .. early days yet and it still needs a bit of work but i had a feeling someone would make one :)

  10. still a bloody ludicrous price.

i wanted Angry Birds, and i bought the minis version for 99p, on sale.
anybody still wanting it and either has a PS3, a PSP or a Vita, get that version, it should only be a few quid at most now.

i actually think it plays better with an analog stick than it does with the touchscreen, at least better than the small screen of my Ipod Touch, maybe an Ipad version might be different.
