Named, in that all-too-subtle way that these collectors versions are, as the Ultimate Songbird Edition, the pack comes with a massive nine and a half inch statue.
“Imagine you get to work with Robb Waters, the concept artist who visualized the cover of System Shock. The Trickster in Thief. Man-Bot in Freedom Force. BioShock’s Little Sisters. Sander Cohen. And BioShock Infinite’s Songbird,” gushes Kev Levine on the PlayStation Blog.
It sounds like Waters oversaw the production of the statue, which comes in a “period” box along with all the stuff that’s in the slightly less premium Premium edition.
That includes a keychain, a lithograph, a resin-cast figure, a mini art book and various digital extras. Oh, and, lest we forget, the game.
The game, in all its incarnations, will be available to pre-order from next Monday.

Was Infinite rumoured to be dead?

Not that I heard… Was delayed until February.

No vinyl? Oh well, I do like the look of that book, and the statue looks cool if a bit too nerdy (I want it made with metal). I’d be interested, but it needs a reasonable price.

Very nice indeed!

Also, i did find its lack of appearance at egx a little disappointing – Was hoping to have a quick lookie see at how it turned out. This is still set for an early (ish) 2013 release right?
wolf-OF-chaos
Yes, it’s out early next year. Which is unfortunate because there’s a shit ton of AAA releases for Q1 2013 and i plan to get all of them.
