Have you ever thought “I’d like to wake up in the morning but it’s just not competitive enough.” Well, from today you can get your hands on the free Wake up Club app for the PS Vita.
It’s an alarm, basically. But it lets you join a club with up to 11 other PSN users who wake up at the same time as you. When your alarm goes off, you have to hit your avatar on the screen as quickly as possible. There’s a 21p theme pack (and presumably more to come) to augment the 10 that are bundled with the free app. Oh and there’s trophies too.
Elsewhere, there’s the PlayStation Home Arcade for Vita that we reported on yesterday and Alien Breed, which is available for both the PS3 and Vita.
Bentley’s Hackpack is a Sly Cooper spin off mini-game collection
It appears that Europe is getting Bentley’s Hackpack, the Vita accompaniment to Sly Cooper, despite its companion game, out yesterday in the US, not seeing an EU release until the end of March. This is a mini-game collection based on Bentley’s hacking games from the main series.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II sees a digital release (at £59.99) for the PS3 but perhaps more interestingly, Ni no Kuni is also released as a download. That should help those of you who have been troubled by the issues with lack of stock for that game – if you’ve got £49.99 in your Wallet.
Oh, and don’t forget about that Vita sale which begins today.

oh, and i think i might have to get a psn topup tomorrow, to take advantage of that 30% off a 3 month plus sub.
i know it just renewed the other day, but hey, not having to worry aboiut it for six months would be nice.

if you got any games to trade in GAME are giving 25% extra for digital
hazelam
that’s an idea, i think i might have a few.
hazelam
bugger it.
why can’t they make sure the version of the game on the store is the most up to date version, rather than having to download an 8 gig game and then having to download a one gig patch, that’s patch one of two by the way, god knows how big the second one is, afterwards. >_<

the Square Enix character pack for Sleeping Dogs is nearly 700 megabytes, damn.
quite a bit of content then, for just 50p. O_O
hazelam
so, you can buy the three Alien Breed games individually for £2.95 each, or the trilogy bundle for, £2.95? o_O

In the Vita sale, does anyone know if u get both PS3 & Vita versions of Playstation All-Stars ??
McProley
Nah, you only get the Vita version free when you buy the PS3 version, not the other way round unfortunately
Broonba
Cheers for the reply man ;)
They can fuck off if they think I’m paying £40 to get both versions, when the Vita version is £15 in sale

The first Journey theme on Wake Up Club is gorgeous. The clock looks great and trophies!! I see this replacing my phone alarm but what’s the deal with leaving the screen on? I wish it would work on standby mode.

It’s all about plus, Alien Breed with discount and F1 Race Stars ta. Already own Dogs otherwise I’d have been all over that like a rash!
