Futurlab Confirm GDC Showing For Velocity Ultra, New Trailer

Futurlab’s PS Vita update to the critically acclaimed PS minis title will be, according to the studio, at GDC this month, with head James Marsden attending the San Francisco show.

To celebrate they’ve issued a ‘features’ trailer, above, which shows off the new control improvements and the rather speedy ‘touch to teleport’ mechanic.

The video also mentions the game’s trophies, which include a platinum.

Read our interview with the developers here. The game releases on May 15th exclusively on the PlayStation Vita as a PSN download.

  1. S*** loads of fun indeed!
Really looking forward to this, the Minis version was superb and all these little changes make buying Ultra more than worthwhile.

  2. Currently enjoyed Surge which works on the Vita perfectly and enjoyed the Velocity mini so naturally looking forward to this.
Didn’t they say trophies were a reason why Velocity didn’t do as well as hoped? Or something along those lines

  3. May 15th?

That’s bang in the middle of my exams, damn you!

I can’t afford to be up all night trying to beat scores in Velocity HD! :P
