Here’s Your Complete Injustice Character Roster

A screenshot tweeted by Warner Bros. employee Brandon Alexander has exposed NetherRealm’s cast of playable characters for upcoming fighter, Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Confirming 22 previously-announced DC icons, the screenshot also reveals two new additions: Killer Frost and Ares. Both will feature alongside the game’s brigade of memorable villains including The Joker, Bane, and Lex Luthor.

Note that the screenshot above only accounts for the characters available at launch. NetherRealm has already confirmed that four more downloadable comic book legends will be available.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is due to launch in a fortnight for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U with an iOS version also in the works.

  1. Man I want this game.

  2. Loved the demo, though I found some things unresponsive. For example, I couldn’t double jump or glide in the air with Batman when using the d pad, but I could when using the analogue. It’s just a demo though so hopefully they fix that, as I tried for time and it certainly wasn’t an error on my part. Maybe I should just get a fighting stick.

Great demo though, love it! This game looks set to have so much content too, it’s going to be great. It helps that I love the DC universe (despite loving Marvel even more) so it’s a win win.

  3. Played the demo, I will stick with MK9 thank you

    • Agreed, I hated it too. Painfully slow (especially when you consider you’re playing as superheroes!) and far too clunky for my tastes. Was expecting so much more.

    • I still think MK9 is one of the best fighting games ever released (it helps that I absolutely love the franchise, got nearly every product related to it, movie soundtracks and all lol), but I’ll get this game purely because the mechanics are quite similar and it has a star studded DC roster :D

  4. Fun enough demo. Batman beating Doomsday? Not a chance. Nor Superman, nor Wonder Woman etc etc.
Now, if they introduce a mode where Superman and Doomsday can fight against each other at their true strengths – that could be fun. Otherwise it is just another beat em up and as already mentioned – MK9 is the dogs.

  5. For anyone who’s interested the iOS version is out and also features (upon signing up for a Warner Brothers account) unlockables across both platforms – the games not bad either for a pretty-looking button basher.
