Frontier Announces Coaster Crazy Deluxe For Wii U

Frontier, who are currently hard at work with their Kickstarter-funded sequel to open space trading/exploring/pirating game, Elite, have something else on the way. It’s a Wii U game based on an existing iOS title and it’ll be called Coaster Crazy Deluxe. It looks just a little bit bonkers.

You’ll build a roller coaster, using the GamePad, and then launch your thrill seekers around the rails. The trick here will be to make a roller coaster that keeps all your passengers happy – some will want speed and some will want a smooth ride. You’ll earn gems and kudos and you can compare your performance against friends on the online leader boards.

There’s no word of a release date or price just yet but it looks like it’s an eShop release.

  1. Nice to see they’re catering for the homicidal tendencies of the average Rollercoaster creator. Nice use of the stylus to adjust the track too, but not sure about the shaking mechanics.

  2. Never trust a man with massive holes in his ears.

    • And think how stupid he’ll look when he’s 58 years old.

  3. Looks quite good.

I’d like to see another Thrillville game for the Vita though, i remember really enjoying that on the PS2.

    • I’d like to see more of them on every system thats out there, there’s not enough!

  4. Looks interesting, I’d give it a chance if I had a Wii U but shame its only exclusive to it.
