Rayman Legends Is Coming To Vita – Here’s A Trailer

Rayman Legends is the sequel to Rayman Origins, a colourful, fun-filled 2D adventure that graces just about every platform back in 2011. When Legends was announced, it spent a period of time looking like it was set to be Wii U exclusive before it was delayed until September and announced for Xbox 360 and PS3 too.

At that point, many of us almost recoiled in horror at the idea that it wouldn’t be released on Vita too. If it was going multi-platform, surely Sony’s handheld was a great place for it to appear? Origins had been such a great fit for the Vita and many of us wanted Legends on the platform too.

Well, it seems like Ubisoft has listened. As the trailer above shows, Rayman Legends is coming to Vita, along with all current home consoles, on August 30th. Its release will be a few days later in North America, on September 3rd. It’ll have five exclusive levels on the Vita, whereby you can control Murphy via the rear touch surface as well as a local co-op option.
