Confirming earlier rumours, David Hayter is no longer the voice of Kojima’s Snake, with Hollywood actor Kiefer Sutherland taking up the role.
The news comes via Konami’s pre-E3 conference, streaming now but inexplicably also available in its entirety on YouTube, above.
“Look, I tried to warn you,” said Hayter on Twitter.

The only acceptable reason for no Hayter as BB would have been choosing Doyle and even then it would have to mean Hayter would be cast as a young Solid.

As much as I love some of his movies and 24, unfortunately Keifer Sutherland’s idea of emotion in a voice is to do a husky whisper.
