TSA E3 Bingo 2013 Results

2013’s E3 was arguably the biggest yet, and with new consoles and fantastic games on show it was hardly surprising. This year saw over 160 of you enter TSA’s E3 Bingo Competition, which was fantastic to see too. The conferences had quite a few surprises, and a lot of the games we thought would be demoed at the publisher conferences were actually shown off during the console maker’s shows. This really messed up some people’s choices (especially mine!), while it allowed other people to get ahead.

Just in case you’ve forgotten, for this years’ Bingo we introduced a new points system in an attempt to mix things up a bit and reward those of you that chose the riskier options (providing those options were right!). The winner would be the one would had the most points, not necessarily the most correct choices. That winner would then be able to choose a game of his or her choice, however it has to be the UK standard edition, so unfortunately they won’t be driving away in the £125,000 BAC Mono Supercar from Grid 2’s Special Edition! We also said we would be picking another winner at random.

There were 88 options for you to choose from, so let’s take a look at what came up, and remember that their points are shown in brackets:

Moving on now to what you’ve all been waiting for, here are the people in the top 3:

So, congratulations are in order to FriendlyFiend, who won with a grand total of 13 points! It was actually pretty close, especially at the top, where every point mattered.

We also mentioned that we’d be picking another winner at random, and that winner is RyanMartin1991! Both winners have been contacted and we’ll arrange to get your games to you as soon as we can! If you want to see the full table of results then you can find them over on page 2.

And that wraps up TSA’s E3 Bingo for 2013, hopefully you’ll all be joining us again next year, only another 11 months to go!

Thanks to Community Team member gazzagb for collating and presenting the results.

  1. Joint 7th for me! Not too bad!

  2. Third best guessing staff member! *writes on CV*

  3. AG2297 (Adam) and I were never really in the running as we’d entered the competition too late. So late, in fact, that we should’ve been top as we knew some of the things that had happened and we were still shit! Hahaha.

Congrats to the genuine winners. :-)

    • You’re a leaky ship Williams, a leaky ship.

  4. Which monster swapped my entry around…?

    Eh?

  5. Congrats guys!

6th place is where it’s at though.

    • Can’t agree more. 6th is the new 1st

      • No doubt.

        6th place party at Zephyre’s!

  6. I thought I’d picked low scoring stuff that was really safe. Bugger.

    • You are the shit! No wait… one “the” too many. :-P

  7. Oh dear, that’s my worst result ever , congrats to the winners!

    • Me too, 1 point! haha, oh well, always next year. And yeah congrats :)

      • I scored double what you did!

      • Is that why they call you double-o-dave?

  8. Wow, tied for 4th … I did much better than expected.

  9. 32. Xbox One released US, Japan and UK in 2013 [1]
    80. Batman: Arkham Origins is shown at one of the platform holder’s press shows [2]

The Xbox isn’t coming out this year in Japan, and Batman wasn’t anywhere (unless we’re counting the tiny snippet in the Sony montage?) – not that I’m sour or anything ;)

    • Pretty sure Batman was shown for the Vita, had a few minutes on it.

    • We had to discuss how strict we would be and 32 was one of those questions where we decided to let it slide and allow people that extra point with the whole “our decision is final” disclaimer being put to good use.

      • Get Josh some Super Sour Gumdrops!

  10. Crikey. Can’t believe I won. It’s all gone a bit Sally Field http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rl_NpdAy3WY

    • Congrats on the win, 13 points is a pretty staggering score.
