EA Announces Gamescom Plans, Titanfall Playable

Gamescom is only a few weeks away so the big publishers are in full preparation mode, especially since this is the first major conference where the public will get some hands on time with the next generation of consoles and games.

EA have now announced their plans for Gamecom, including holding a conference on August 20th at 3PM BST showing off their titles, and hopefully new ones. As well as the conference the publisher will have a presence on the showfloor, with games including Titanfall, Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Command & Conquer, The Sims 4 and Need For Speed Rivals all being accessible to anyone who fancies a go.

Mobile titles will also be on show with EA Mobile Play, Chillingo and PopCap all showing off their games. The latter will most likely be letting people play versions of Plants vs Zombies 2, or even Garden Warfare.

EA won’t be the only publisher holding a conference, with both Sony and Microsoft confirming they’ll be holding their own events too. Who knows if Nintendo or anyone else will follow suit.

    Worst. Final. Line. Ever!

  4. Good to hear. Titanfall was easily my favourite game shown at E3 so I’m looking forward to hearing some more info and perhaps seeing some new footage.
